September 26. This town is worth a visit. It had the most amazing abbey/ monastery until it was destroyed by King Henry Viii

dissolution of monasteries. What a waste. The energy was high. Not as much as Walsingham but a lovely experience right on the ley line. St Mary Church was beautiful. Of course I entered via the tradesman entrance with a kind lady who was so helpful and talked about putting signs up so people know where the front entrance is š. Donāt get me wrong I was looking for the front but you know you meet the loveliest people doing the wrong thing. I next met Eileen who kindly told me that it was the longest nave except for Winchester ( I am going there ). King Henry Viii interred his sister Mary here. It has a window that was a copy of a badge that pilgrims received when visiting with the Star of David ā”ļø on. I love it. I then visited the cathedral next door. Poor King Edmund was at the mercy of the Vikings. More souvenirs oh and did I tell you I stopped at a shop that had homemade products and I got a fox apron (needed an apron and love to support people using their gifts).
