Trumpets of Joy

When I arrived home beautiful lilies were sprouting to welcome me with trumpets of joy. All of my roses; red, pink and white had been most proliferant for my impending arrival. It is heartwarming. They have never been so abundant. I spent my return getting Christmas ready rather than reflecting on my trip. I will post separately my reflections. I have noticed little changes in myself. For the first time in 8 years I bought a real tree from a Christmas tree farm and managed to bring it home myself, couldn’t see out of the car rear window. I got it carefully out of the car and into its stand. Bigger than I thought. In Australia they are much thicker and bulkier than those in UK. This one is healthy and round but without the lovely pine smell I was expecting so far. I also put more decorations and lights up so that’s a positive sign.
