Rich day: Cannes, Nice, Eze & Monaco/Monte Carlo

A grand day for sure to explore ancient and modern. If I can get past some whinging tour mates. I reset my mind to the beauty and magnifence outside the bus. There are 2 buses on the same tour. Our first stop is Nice from our port at Cannes. An amazing mix of old and new. A beautiful park that goes on forever and markets near a blue ocean.

On to Eze an ancient medieval town on top of a mountain. It reminds me of Capalbio and has a lovely energy. I guess there’s a lot of these towns built up high. I arrive back at the bus on time to the grumps saying who are we waiting for this time. I speak back about it not being time yet. They have no patience.

Off to Monaco, a principality of its own with a palace where Grace Kelly once lived. We have lunch at the palace ( well we have a view of it). A glass of wine and some stuffed vegetables and a gorgeous view, what else could you want.
