Pear Tree Inn

September 26. I’m staying in Welwyn Garden City in Hollybush Lane. It was a very wet journey from Bury st Edmunds along all sorts of roads. The inn is pretty with a small but nice room. Wouldn’t you know it they are renovating and my door has no number on it. But I think room 6 is changing to room 13 😎

Yikes. I also have to access up slippery outside fire stairs. I accessed restaurant via the staff stairs with permission. Think I’m starting a trend 🙈. Having a large wine and Lamb Korma amongst a noisy crowd. Oh well counting my blessings I have a room for the night. Off to Wales tomorrow.
